It is desirable that people attending these courses have a basic knowledge of quantum mechanics, classical thermodynamics and statistical mechanics.
The courses are aimed at undergraduate and postgraduate students in chemistry, physics, various engineerings and biology. Researchers are also welcome.
The students have to bring their own laptop with a Unix-compatible operating system (such as Linux or Mac OS X).
